The stay featured a charming location with clean rooms and a standout carvery that impressed our taste buds. While the staff were generally attentive, there was a notable early hiccup with a receptionist that dampened the initial experience. the friendly resident cat added a delightful touch, making the atmosphere cozier.

The stay was fantastic, especially the delicious meals prepared by Andrew, catering perfectly to our plant-based diet, and the lovely conversations we had with the friendly staff. We enjoyed a soothing spa day and a cozy evening by the fireplace which really helped us unwind. The bathroom could use a little reno as there were some rusty screws, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. 😊

I truly appreciated the fantastic breakfast and the accommodating staff during my stay, as it felt so welcoming and made my mornings enjoyable before heading out to explore nearby attractions like Solitude Park just under 4 km away and the incredible FE McWilliam Gallery and Studio just over 5 km away, perfect for my weekend strolls.
